If (x+y)^2 =xy Then xy'=y how can I prove this ?

OpenStudy (kainui):

Just take the derivative of your function (x+y)^2=xy using implicit differentiation. From there, you can solve for y' and plug it into the formula xy'=y and see if you get a true statement.

Already did but I couldn't get the same result @kainui

OpenStudy (kainui):

Show me what you get.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got y'= -2x-y/x+2y @kainui
