what is the slope of the line passing through points A(5,4) and B(0,3) show all your work and calculations. I don't get this please help

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

What do you know about slope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothing

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

The definition of slope for a line is the change in y (vertical rise) per change in x (horizontal run). Does that sound at all familiar, or has it just not made any sense?

OpenStudy (kainui):

Slopes are things people can roll down for fun sometimes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're going to want to use m= y2-y1/x2-x1 are you familiar with that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, well that's just the general formula used when finding a slope let's see.....given your points let's say this|dw:1399229521470:dw| do you follow so far? i just labeled :)
