p(x) looks like a parabola. And also, an exponential function rises faster than a polynomial function as the power is 'x' in the exponential function. For eg. e^x = 2.71^x rises faster. Thus, t(x) must be the exponential function as it has greater values of t(x) than p(x) for the same 'x'. Yes, D should be correct. Because if you notice, for value of x<0. t(x) actually has smaller values than p(x) for the same 'x'. So after it intersects, t(x) is the function which eventually surpasses the p(x) in the function value for the same 'x'.
