There was several well known suffrage leaders but i will talk about Elizabeth Cady Stanton since she was really famous. She led the women suffrage along with Lucretia Mott. They were founders of the Declaration of Sentiments which was the declaration of independence but for womens. IT basically argued the right of equality for women jus like men. Most people were against but it was mostly the men of course...higher upper class
