what you do is list the numbers from least to greatest find the middle number ( if its odd there will be two middle numbers) circle them. then fine the mean of the left numbers, (including the left number in the your circle ONLY if there are TWO numbers you have circled... if there is only one dont usee it aand just find the mean of the left hand side of your circle) i hope this makes since
