can someone help me? Sydney bought 5.65 lbs of roast beef, which was on sale for $4.50 per pound. If she divides the roast beef evenly among 6.5 sandwiches, how much was the cost per sandwich? A. $8.16 per sandwich B. $165.26 per sandwich C. $3.91 per sandwich D. $25.43 per sandwich

i feel so stupid! but i don't know how to do it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need to divide 5.65 by 4.50 (the cost per pound), and then divide that by the number of sandwiches(which is 6.5). Really, all you need to do is find out what 5.65 / $4.50 is, and then divide that by 6.5.

Ok but then that would be 0.193162393. i think i did something wrong

Sorry, I messed up. You need to MULTIPLY 5.6.5 by $4.50 and then divide that by 6.5.
