So you're going to do 35% of 600. You set it up like this: x/600=35/100. You're going to multiply 600 by 35 and then divide by 100; that will be your answer (:

You have 600 people all together. You need to know how many people make up for 35%. To do this, you cross multiply, or use the FISH method.
