hero (hero):

If: t = tent and f = fishing rod Then: 2t + 5f = 263 4t + 3f = 379 Solve the system

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

use elimination, get rid of variable "t" first

OpenStudy (31356):

I have tried numbers however the answer turn out to be decimals? I am not sure, please help.

OpenStudy (31356):

Okay thanks dumbcow

hero (hero):

It says to find how much each costs. We can assume we will end with decimals. Especially if something ends up costing say $5.63 for example.

OpenStudy (31356):

For the first one I got $79. For the second one I got $21 right? please check.....
