Well, chloroplasts only exist in plant cells, so that one is out. Plastids are also in plant cells only. So that leaves you with lysosomes and mitochondria. Lysosomes are in animal cells and contain enzymes. Mitochondria processes energy. So, in conclusion, C) Mitochondria would be your anser.

Fat stores energy for long periods of time. And you know when you soak a pan that you've cooked bacon in in water and all of the grease/fat in the pan rises to the top? That means it's insoluable/unable to be dissolved in the water. Therefore, D is your answer.

fyi, lactase helps digest lactose and other dairy products. with lack of it, dairy products are unable to be completely digested. if there is a mutation in the lactase enzyme, a person becomes lactose intolerant.
