help please! been stuck on it for an hr. integral/area problem attached below.

Personally, I would first find sensible bounds for reasonableness. If you drew straight lines from the points, you would get \(4\sqrt{2}\). If you followed the coordinate axes, traversing to all four points, you would get \(8\) You can probably narrow it down a bit from there without much difficulty. 1) Did you find the derivative? Do you REALLY want to solve for y, first? 2) Did you build the integrand? 3) What's preventing you from evaluating the integral?
