hartnn (hartnn):

to get the terms, plug in different values of 'n' example, to get 1st term. put n=1 to get 2nd term, put n= 2 ans so on!

hartnn (hartnn):

say you need 2nd term, plug in n=2 in 5. 3^n \(=5 \times 3^2 = ...?\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So.. 45

hartnn (hartnn):

45 is the 2nd term, correct!

hartnn (hartnn):

so which option ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I would be D then.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It*

hartnn (hartnn):

correct! :)

hartnn (hartnn):

for 4. also to get f(2) just plug in n=2

hartnn (hartnn):

2 |-1|^2 = ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2

hartnn (hartnn):

correct again :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, thank you so much.(:

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^

OpenStudy (mrnood):

the second question does not seem correctly phrased to me it describes f(x) but there is no x in the equation. It seems to me that it is more accurately f(n)
