well the romantic era started in the late 1700's after Beethoven many new composers started creating music about there feelings and creating these pieces for operas. some of these include Gioacchino Rossini, Felix Mendelssohn, and Robert Schumann. Felix Mendelssohn is my favorite i hope you listen to some of there work
