Place i before e except after c rule???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So in a live lesson last night, we were discussing this rule and found that only about 40 words in the English dictionary followed this rule. I started thinking that the only words that follow this rule have the "ee" sound. My teacher now gave us the assignment to find as many words as we can that have the "ee" sound, but also follow the rule. She gave the examples of believe, retrieve, grieve, and siege. We can't use any of these and I have only come up with achieve, thief, and piece. What other words follow this rule?

OpenStudy (cherry17ann):

belief, chief, yield
