How can this three-dimensional, symmetrical, capital letter "I" block be broken into pieces so that it results in the smallest number of parts? Describe each part with measurements. pictured is a solid composite figure in the shape of a capital I. The length of the entire letter is 5 centimeters. The width is 2 centimeters. The height of the cross pieces at the top and the bottom is 2 centimeters. The length of the middle of the I is 2 centimeters long. Each distance from the outside edge of the middle piece to the outside edge of the top and bottom cross pieces is 2 centimeters.
