is this correct?

12ft x 5pi=60

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

What are trying to find? the volume ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Well, you are forgetting something \(\LARGE\color{blue}{ \bf A=πr^{2} }\) so, in your case, the area of the circle (of the cylinder) will be \(\LARGE\color{blue}{ \bf A=π(5)^{2} =25π}\) Now, to find the volume of the cylinder multiply the area of the circle times height. \(\LARGE\color{blue}{ \bf V=25π \times 12= 300π }\) ANY question ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No thank you, but thanks alot :)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

LOL.... my pleasure !
