Hi does anyone know where to download a compiler for python?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Python 2 or 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you want the Python to become, Java, C, html?

I'm not too sure, I just need a place to get a compiler to help me through this course.

python.org

The course has a specific page with all the instruction you would need on downloading and installing python. Usually you wouldn't use a compiler for python (although you can). Instead you'd use an IDLE which is short for an "Integrated DeveLopment Environment." use the link below or just click on the "Software" tab when at the main page http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00sc-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-spring-2011/software/

If you are using Linux it is preinstalled. You would just need the IDLE I believe.
