Hi
An airplane travels at an average speed of 250 mph for 3 hours. How far does the airplane travel?
do i have to divide?
distance = velocity *time

im so confused D:
why? it's quite clear. How far: means the distance speed means velocity time means 3 hours
ok so do i have to multiply or divide?
if in 1 hour, you walk 2 miles so, for 3 hours , how far do you get?

ok, exactly the same. mph means the airplane "walk" 250 miles in 1 hour how far does it "walk" for 3 hours?
