Well, the first one is hard to answer... but the second one... yes, bullying definitely causes kids to commit suicide (ik from personal experience)

3 reasons bullying causes kids to commit suicide:

1. Bullying makes the person lose self confidence
2. Harsh words used by bullies change the person's psycological mindset of themself, causing the kid to believe what the bully says is true. (ex. "you're ugly, everyone would be happier if you died..." etc)
3. The person may not want to have to confront the bully again, so they commit suicide as a "way out".
