There are 56 liters of water in 8 containers. Which unit rate represents this ratio? A. 7 liters per container B. 14 liters per container C. 28 liters per container D. 56 liters per container

What are you having a problem with?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

there are 56 liters in 8 containers therefore there are ___ liters in 1 container. What do you think ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it may be A but I'm not positive. If you divide 56 by 8 you get 7 so I would think 1 container can hold 7 liters each.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Music, you are correct, but give the asker chance to solve the problem in the future...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks everyone :) I wish i could give you all medals

Yes I know I am sorry, I just feel like sometimes as a confused student myself it can be harder to understand unless you have an example before being asked to do the problem yourself.
