You could always do it long hand to double check. 1.) 18000*.03=x x+1800=a 2.) a*.03=b b+a=c 3.) c*.03=d d+c=e 4.) e*.03=f f+e=f 5.) f*.03=g g+f=h a+c+e+f+h=amount earned
