well if it is even, it will mirror itself over the y-axis.

We can figure out if it is even by seeing if f(x)=f(-x)

so for instance, 5 will have the same y value as -5

then if it is odd, it will be reflected over the y-axis and then over the x-axis

We can figure out if it is odd by setting f(x)=-f(-x)

And if you do both of these things and they both don't work out... then it is neither!
