I just need someone to clear this confusion. During a titration, I measure two titre volumes as 23.80 and 23.70. These are within 0.1 of each other. Now the question asks to calculate average titre and use it in subsequent calculations. The average comes out as 23.75. However, the burette is accurate to only 0.05. So do I use the average of 23.75 or do I round it off? @Vincent-Lyon.Fr @experimentX @ganeshie8

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Keep 23.75

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take average and keep it.

So even if it is like 22.25 or any such number which is not correct to 0.05, I can use it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, just make sure your reading are not too far away from each other a max of 0.1-0.2 is good enough

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, actually this was written in the Revision Guide published by CIE itself. So I got confused.

Ooohhh hell no ignore that xD
