OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you figure it out?

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

Oh, yep :) the actual data set is; 31, 33, 35, 41, 43, 46, 48, 49, 49, and 50 the minimum value is 31, the max is 50, the median is (43 + 46)/2

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

So the interquartile range is the difference between the Q1 and Q3 marker. the median is 44.5 so the number in the data set that is in the middle of 31 and 44.5 and the number in the middle of 44.5 and 50 will be the Q1 and Q3. so 35 and 49. So 49 - 35 = 14 I believe the interquartile range is 14 :P If I did the math correctly.
