Is Anyone Good at Quadratic Equations?
yes, why
hello?
Sorry, I was helping someone. Give me a sec, I gotta get what I need. :)
Okay, so I have this assignment for Math where I have to like substitute equations for motor speeds into things or whatever, and I'm completely lost as to what to do. Can we like go through each step of it together so I can understand it better? @lsaonlineacadamyinezb @Jadeishere
yeah go for it.
let me read this over and figure it out.
I guess you don't need my help >..< If ya'll get stuck i'll help ya :)
Okay, thanks! I tried replying to you, but it said that you only accept messages from people that you have fanned so it wouldn't let me. :/ I wasn't ignoring you though! :)
Okay, take your time, lsaonline. :)
Ok. First, lets convert the x, v, and s into somthing easier, that will help us remember which is which. The "s" is goint to be made into a 'h' to help us remember that s= height, h is for height. this helps me lots of times to remember which variable is which. the v can be switched into s for speed, and leave x as is. the new equation is going to be switched to y=-16x^2+sx+h, correct?
Yes :)
ok. the speed is 190 fps, so the new equation is going to be y=-16^2+190x+0, yes or no?
?
Yes =)
oh im so sorry my computer restarted for some reason. sorry :/ lets get back to this.
um im not sure why it has the a, b and c in it, thats a little weird. maybe you can eemail your teacher and have him or her clairify this...
I think I know why. Gimme a sec to look. :)
Okay, does this make sense to you? :)
