A red number cube and a blue number cube are rolled. If all numbers are equally likely, what is the probability that the sum of the numbers is 6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

red cube has 6 different outcomes, blue cube has 6 different outcomes. together, they have 6*6 = 36 different outcomes. now what are the outcomes where sum of number is 6? let me write those outcomes down (R is red cube, B is blue cube) R B 1,5 2,4 3,3 4,2 5,1 as you can see, five outcomes. now you just have to divide number of positive outcomes with number of all possible outcomes;) if you have any more answers feel free to ask;)
