What is 9^(x+3)=27

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well rewrite the left side \[(3^2)^{(x +3)} = 3^3\] using the power of a power index law its \[3^{2(x + 3)} = 3^3\] now you have the same base, you can equate the powers \[2(x + 3) = 3\] now you just need to solve for x. hope it helps
