Part A: Write the expression x2 + 2x - 24 as a product of two linear expressions. Show your work and justify each step. (5 points)

This is 3 parts, and I really need help. I am in a HUGE rush.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We need to factor:\[x^{2}+2x-24\]To do so we need a pair of numbers that add to 2 and multiply to -24. That pair is 4 and -6, therefore:\[x^{2}+2x-24(x-4)(x+6)\] i.e. the two expressions are x-4 and x+6.
