Firstly, when trying to figure out what a graph looks like, you want to solve for Y, so move everything to one side and get the Y alone, that way you will see that the function is just a line that takes the form\[y=mx+b\]where m is the slope of the graph, and b is the y-intercept that the graph goes through, namely that the graph will go through the point (0,b)
