f(x)=5^x+1 Evaluate the functions at f(e)?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

how would you evaluate f(4) in this case, do the same (or well... about the same thing) for f(e).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would sub it in for x and get 3125. Can you explain more please?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I am not sure if you would get that. If you use the approximate 2.7 for e, then just use the calculator, and if not, then even easier, just sub.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it385.646?

@Loser66

OpenStudy (loser66):

I'm sorry, I don't know how to solve without calculator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I figured it out thanks tho!

OpenStudy (linyu):

i think 5^e+1 would do
