According to Newton's Second Law of Motion, how much force must be applied to a 0.145 kg baseball for it to travel at 38 m/s²? A. F = ma-mg; therefore, it would take 4.0N of force. B. F = ma; therefore, it would take 5.5 N of force. C. F = mv; therefore, it would take 5.5 N of force. D. F = mg; therefore, it would take 1.42 N of force.

you use force=mass*acceleration.

Thank you ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is a poor question though. because it doesnt talk about acceleration or time.
