The Amazon rainforest is one of the most important reservoirs of biodiversity, whether insects, vertebrates and plants in the world and represents more than half of the world's tropical forests. makes no sense to me.
As the largest region of America moist rainforest, animal or plant species in ten in the world live in the Amazon rainforest. this either
Bonjour. First mistake I have found "In addition, Contrary to what many people think, soils in the Amazon are relatively poor" Do not capitalize the word contrary. "So when there is trauma to the land, such as human activity, soils accumulate waste and ashes." Combine this sentence with the last, so it would be come "The majority of non-flooded Amazonian lands are very fertile. So when there is trauma to the land, such as human activity, soils accumulate waste and ashes, so when there is trauma..." Another thing, its not exactly a problem but there are a LOT of commas (all correctly placed). Consider rewriting some sentences, but it is not necessary. Change " Deprive forest, is to deny all these valuable services. " to "To deprive a forest, it to deny all these valuable services." L'anglais est la langue seconde? Ca cest bon.
Other than that its decent. but take that with a grain of salt, im more of a math/physics person. than english
Thank you :)! Yes its my second language :(
je parle un peu francais :) Vous parlez mieux l'anglais que moi le français lol :P
haha no you're good :)
the second post i made. i dont know where your getting at with ten in the middle of that sentence
like 1 specie / 10
The Amazon rainforest is one of the most important reservoirs of biodiversity in the world, including insects, vertebrates and plants. It represents more than half of the world's tropical forests. That is how i would write that paragraph
okay that makes more sense :)
As the largest region of America's moist rainforest, one in ten animal or plant species that reside in the world live in the Amazon rainforest. That is how i would write that. but there is a better phrase for reside in. but im not great at synonym phrases.
and you may be able to put a comma between world and live but im not 100% sure
i dont see anything. but give me a minute and i might read it again .
this is what it looks like now
The topic I wanted to talk today and that is dear to my heart is the Amazon rainforest. Firstly, I think it is important to present it properly, since it is very important for the proper functioning of our planet. For some people, it is the lungs of the earth. For me, I think it is much more than a forest. The Amazon rainforest is one of the most important reservoirs of biodiversity in the world, including insects, vertebrates and plants. It represents more than half of the world's tropical forests. As the largest region of America moist rainforest, animal or plant species in ten in the world live in the Amazon rainforest. In addition, since it is a wet area with lots of plants, it helps make the air of our planet better, and causes rain, preventing land desertification. In short, it is very important in various areas of the planet. However, it is threatened by deforestation and this is what alarms me. Indeed, since 1970 , nearly 18 % of the original forest has disappeared due to deforestation and human activities, which is huge if you think about the size of this forest, which at the time was over 7 3 million km ². In addition, contrary to what many people think, soils in the Amazon are relatively poor. The majority of non-flooded Amazonian lands are very fertile. So when there is trauma to the land, such as human activity, soils accumulate waste and ashes. This results in a washing of soil nutrients. It thus becomes empty, and nothing grows there anymore. The place will simply become a desert. In addition to all this, the climate impact is felt more strongly, since there are more and more desert. Finally, we tend to forget, but most of the world's forests are of great service to man. With their roots, trees are used for soil conservation, in the fight against avalanches and landslides, stabilization of sand dunes and the protection of coastal areas . Deprive forest, is to deny all these valuable services. I could name many other consequences of those practices, but I'll stop there. I think we all have an awareness of what is happening now in the Amazon, and whether it is really worth it, because ultimately, it is the forests that sustain us, not the money it can bring to us.
You looks pretty good. but bring the end to a nice settlement
I need someone to construct my wrong sentence properly :(
Is you last paragraph a conclusion
you still messed up the part that has the in ten in it.
