Since it is <0, this means that the angle is the 3rd/4th quad. evaluate arcsin (1/2) on your calculator -> this should be pi/6 rads. If the angle you want is in the 3rd quad, the GS would be 7pi/6 + (2n)pi rads. If the angle you want is in the 4th quad, the GS would be 11pi/6 + (2n)pi rads.
-pi/6.
or for the 4th quad, GS would be (2n)pi - (pi/6) rads [same as 11pi/6 + (2n)pi rads].
