What combination results when a corporation purchases other corporations that don't produce the same types of goods? A. horizontal mergers B. vertical mergers C. conglomerates D. multinational
Any guesses..??
mmmm its either A or D
Well a horizontal merger happens when two companies that produce the same thing merge.Would you still think it is A then? Well these companies do not produce the same goods though. And for D. do you know what multinational merger means? Multinational just means a merger between two corporations located in different countries. A conglomerate is a bunch of merged corporations that stay as separate entities. And if horizontal merger is between two corporations in the same area, what would vertical be? - It would be a corporation merging with another that produces different goods. Usually something down the industrial line. So if you were a furniture company you would buy a lumber company to get your materials cheaper. Hopefully this helps, good luck! ^^ :-]
Its C trust me.
