Well thats not exactly what I was going for. Have you ever heard of silent films? They're pretty much like our movies of today, but they have no audible noise, and they were all in black and white.

Okay great! The assignment is testing how you research, and present information. I'd go with searching "timeline of technology of the 21st century" on Google. Then, when you have 10 things that revolutionized life for people of the 20's you arrange them on a timeline according to date.

Remember, the question says that they have to include home life, transportation, entertainment, work life, etc. So be sure to get a wide variety.

Silent films could fall under the category of entertainment, as could radio. Since that's two from that category, you might want to find some stuff from the other categories before using entertainment again.
