"Is everyone here ready to play?" asked Coach Starks. "Ready!" shouted the players. "You bet we are!" said Trent. Coach Starks said, "Let's jog a lap and then stretch. Can someone grab the water bottles?" "Sure," said Colin. "I've got the medical kit," offered Marcus. "Try to stay focused, boys!" urged Coach Starks. A. correctly B. incorrectly

What's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it used correctly or incorrectly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, but is what used correctly? The quotes, punctuation, grammar? Sentence structure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the whole sentence i really dont know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's used incorrectly, since it would make no sense for the coach to urge them to stay focused when they didn't have a specific thing to be focused on in the first place. Marcus was just offering kindly, so no reason for the coach to be mad.

ok thanks
