A restaurant charges $12 for a buffet plus $2.60 for each drink. Another restaurant charges $15 for a buffet plus $2 for each drink. The system of equations is graphed below. Coordinate plane with two intersecting lines. Line A plotted on the coordinate plane that intersects the y-axis at twelve. Line B plotted on the coordinate plane that intersects the y-axis at fifteen. Lines A and B intersect at the point five comma twenty-five. Part 1: What is the solution? Part 2: Show your work to verify the solution for both equations.

well you are asked to plot 2 cost equations let x = number of drinks y = the cost of the buffet Line A y = 2.6x + 12 Line B y = 2x + 15 the point where the 2 lines is where the cost of eating(and drinking) at buffet A is equal to the cost for buffet B. so the solution (5, 25) means that purchasing 5 drinks at either buffet will result in the same cost of $25. to verify the solution substitute x = 5 into each of the equations above to show y = 25 hope it helps
