OpenStudy (staceyg):

What is the slope of the line that passes through the pair of points (1,7) and (10,1)?

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

2/3 is the slope. :) \[\frac{ rise }{ run }\] the rise is 6 and the run is 9, simplify that to get 2/3. All you've got to do is graph the intercepts :)

OpenStudy (staceyg):

Thanks so much. Can you explain how you find the slope. When I graph the two intercepts, what do I do next?

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

Here i'll show ya :) |dw:1399589847170:dw| So in the drawing I graphed the line. Notice how there are the squares?
