can someone help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help in solvin systems of sustitution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b) 5x = 20 + 4y 4 – x = 2y

geerky42 (geerky42):

Do you know how to do that? easy thing to start is to isolate x in second equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wrong one its supposed 2) x – y = 2 y = -x – 8

geerky42 (geerky42):

oh well, y in second equation is already isolated. so just substitute y in first equation to -x-8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then

geerky42 (geerky42):

you got it? what's the x?

geerky42 (geerky42):

then you just need to solve for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

geerky42 (geerky42):

that's not all, you also need to find y as well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, im going to do this later

geerky42 (geerky42):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for helping be half it tho
