one object is wider and flatter than the other. which object will hit the ground last

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the effects of air resistance are minimized, in a vacuum for example, both will objects will hit the ground at the same time. When falling through air, the longer wider object may begin to tumble and spin if it falls a great distance. It will likely have a lower terminal velocity, so it will take it longer to reach the ground. You need to include both situations unless you have been told that you can neglect the effects of air resistance when you answer this.
