In openstudy it is possible to copy a drawing but there should be an ability to copy equations

OpenStudy (blues):

That is a terrific idea! And there should be a better table tool, not drawing it out line by line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes and i also meant copying equations in the same question and other questions

mathslover (mathslover):

You've got a technical way to do it... Suppose I wrote \(x = 3\) . Right click on "x=3" and you will be shown some options.

mathslover (mathslover):

Go to Show math as - >and then Tex Commands, a window will be opened showing the code of the equation. Copy it and paste anywhere but don't forget to put `\( \) ` in start and end of the code.

mathslover (mathslover):

`\(\) ` or `\[\]`

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sin \beta \]

mathslover (mathslover):

:)

Also, you can join LaTeX practicing group to practice LaTeX and to know more about LaTeX and tips : http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/LaTeX%20Practicing!%20%3A)

mathslover (mathslover):

Also, you can download @wio 's "OpenStudy Quoting" App for Google Chrome which can help you to just click the button and the text/equation will be copied. For example : \(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @╰☆╮Openstudier╰☆╮ \[\sin \beta \] \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/open-study-quoting/daeffggacpioiaekojicffekajgcejgb?hl=en I would also prefer you to download Wio's OpenStudy Notebook app for chrome : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/open-study-notebook/nmdboeolmlhaaepahmeklccofcbbmpdc?hl=en

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is great app

Why is it you can't copy and paste a drawing from one post to another? You can copy a drawing on a same post as many times as you want, but if you try to copy and paste it on another question, it doesn't allow you to post.

mathslover (mathslover):

Yes, you can't but why do you think - that there is a need for that? I mean, why is it required to copy a drawing from one question to another question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, I just noticed it for the "design" section, it sounds a bit dumb, but I was trying to copy one of my drawings to post on another question where people were drawing >_>. I know it's dumb, but I noticed that and thought I'd share lool.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But you could say the same for equation bar, it depends on the person if they like to draw out something or use the equation. It would be useful for shapes and other geometry stuff though.

mathslover (mathslover):

Hmm, okay, not bad idea. But, I don't know whether to introduce a feature which allows to copy the drawings is possible or not?
