I am asked to "discuss the claim that sexism does not only affect the way we think but also the way we feel" in an essay but I'm having very big problems getting started. Any ideas?

It affects the way we think of other people, but it also controls our feelings because once we do believe certain things about sexism, we then change our feelings towards certain groups of people and how they act. If you are taught to believe one thing, you will more than likely have a strong feeling about/towards it for the rest of your life. Thoughts are easy to change, feelings aren't as easy to change because they are your belief. :)
