E is just silly. C is just there to confuse you about B
The Marines got away from being surrounded at Chosin and MacArthur was fired over his disagreement with Truman. (McG sorta forgot who was boss)
I'm not sure if the Chinese soldiers were actually in North Korea voluntarily but when they showed up, UN troops got pused back into  South korea, thus the retreat at Chosin.
