OpenStudy (anonymous):
Can you explain me why please
geerky42 (geerky42):
agree. why? i am positive it's C.
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
63 divided by 7 = 9
it takes 9 minutes to make 63 shirts total
geerky42 (geerky42):
problem already stated it took them 7 minutes to make a shirt. you don't make sense.

so
(time per shirt)*(total time) = total number of shirts
(7 min/1 shirt)*(9 min) = 63 shirts
7*9 = 63
63 =63
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
that's per shirt
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
the machine made 63 shirts total
geerky42 (geerky42):
i mean.. one shirt for 7 min. it's impossible to make 63 shirts in 9 min...
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
oh oops (7 min/1 shirt)*(9 min) makes no sense lol, the units aren't cancelling like I want them to
so yeah it is (7 min/1 shirt)*(63 shirts) = 7*63
my bad
