Ok so the best I can do is have you go to http://web2.0calc.com/ enter in this order Hold the "tan" buton down till it says "atan" then push the "tan" button again and enter 7 then hit the equal button you should have your answer!

no, arctan(x) only gives you a value between -pi/2 and pi/2. 7 is not in that range

7 could be in degrees, and here it must be this is the arc tangent (inverse tangent) of the angle having the tangent of angle 7, arc tan[tan x] = x
