Write an equation that passes through the points (4,-1) and (2,- 2)

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Know how to find slope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not really :/

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

For slow m, \(m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\) They also call this rise over run or change in y over change in x.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Once you know the slope, you can use either point in the point slow formula to find the line.
