find the magnitude and direction of (vector a - vector b) [ read as vector a minus vector b] when vector a has magnitude 5 units and point North 30 degree east and vector b has magnitude 5 units and point North 30 degree west. answer is given : 5 units west to east

the resultant vector forms an equilateral triangle with vectors a and b as the sides hence the resultant has magnitude of 5 units and is directed from west to east..
