Find the equation for (a) the tangent lines, and (b) the normal lines, to the hyperbolas y^2/4 -x^2/2=1 when x=4

OpenStudy (amistre64):

take an implicit derivative to define the tangent line, use the given x, to define a suitable y and use them in the derivative to define the slope of the line .. normals are just perp slopes at a stated point.
