I need help analysing a poem called "nothing is like nothing else" by elizabeth brewster! I dont exactly understand how to paraphrase it! HELP
If the title accurately expresses the theme, it means that everything is unique and must be considered as such, rather than assumed to be much like something else. Do you think this is true? How about identical twins?
I agree, however how does the theme of uniqueness connect to her childhood? When I was young and knew no better I was always wanting to compare this to that: Hearts might be cold as ice cream cones: Water shone like flashlights; Autumn leaves were mustard On the sky‟s blue china plate
"Young and knew no better," so knows now this is wrong, likely having made some mistakes that were costly to her.
