HELP Q BELOW A triangle has vertical at S(1, 1), T(2, -3), and U(4, 0). The triangle is translated up 3 units. What are the coordinates of the vertices of the image? (1 point) 1.) S(4, 1), T(5, -3), and U(7, 0) 2.) S(1, 4), T(2, 0), and U(4, 3) 3.) S(1, 4), T( 2, -3) and U(4, 0) 4.) S(2, -3), T(2, -6) and U(4, -3)

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Up 3 units means y coordinates are increased by 3.

@SeaTurtle113

OpenStudy (seaturtle113):

I'm sorry.. I'd love to help, but Math is not my skill set. :P @wolfe8 Do you know how to do this?

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Aravind already said it

OpenStudy (seaturtle113):

Whoops sorry.. I didn't even see that! /.\ *sleep deprived*

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Haha it's fine. But that should be sufficient to answer this

OpenStudy (seaturtle113):

I agree. :) thank you.

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

Idk how to do it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

take a point (x,y) ... and add 3 to the y part to get: (x,y+3)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

then compare your results to the options .. and pick the one that matches

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

@magbak

OpenStudy (magbak):

It is the same answer that the first guy said.

OpenStudy (magbak):

What don't you understand.

OpenStudy (magbak):

Tell me what you don't understand.

OpenStudy (magbak):

What rong.

OpenStudy (magbak):

My computer is acting up

OpenStudy (magbak):

I am really sorry.
