@texaschic101 :) Help Please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(3x^{3}+x)(4x^{4}-2x^{2}+1)=12x^{7}-2x^{5}+x^{3}+x\]

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

(3x^3 + x) ( 4x^4 - 2x^2 + 1) --- this is just distribution...but your using two numbers instead of 1. first multiply everything in the parenthesis by 3x^3 3x^3 * (4x^4 - 2x^2 + 1) = 12x^7 - 6x^5 + 3x^3 now multiply everything in the parenthesis by x x * (4x^4 - 2x^2 + 1) = 4x^5 - 2x^3 + x so now we have : 12x^7 - 6x^5 + 3x^3 + 4x^5 - 2x^3 + x -- combine like terms 12x^7 - 2x^5 + x^3 + x

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

understand ? Do you have any questions ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@texaschic101 so its c :)
